The story began with a 1936 Thornycroft dismantled... its rear axles and gearbox were installed in a Leyland Badger.

Why? Because this modification helped the now famous postman Tom Kruse deliver mail to the most remote parts of Australia for the next 25 years.

Pioneers like Tom, who had to rely on off-road vehicles that could handle the harsh Australian terrain, opened the eyes of the country.

Legendary Bill King of Australian Adventure Tours (AAT Kings), one of our first customers, built his shop in the back of an all-wheel drive Bedford he bought from us. Since 1960, our company has been learning from these pioneers.

We learned what works well and how we can make a vehicle stronger so that it can continue to drive safely through dangerous, yet beautiful landscapes.

It all started with the Bedfords and Leylands, then continued with the LandCruisers and Patrols, all the way to today's rapidly developing off-road equipment market, which is now following its own pioneering path.

Over the years, the knowledge we have shared with our customers has resulted in over 40,000 4WD parts.

This is the culmination of the last 50 years of engineering, testing and manufacturing work that has allowed us to serve other continents, including Africa.
